PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a river monitoring system, a river monitoring program, and a river monitoring method that prevent water level information from being missed owing to a rise in water level.;SOLUTION: There is provided a river monitoring system that includes a plurality of observation devices which are arranged along a river to measure water levels, and a monitoring device which monitors the water levels transmitted through radio communication between the observation devices across the river, the observation devices each including measuring means of measuring a water level and a reception level, transmission means of transmitting the water level to the monitoring device, and control means of calculating a predicted reception level to be measured next on the basis of a water level and a reception level in every periodic time when the water level reaches a warning water level or when a water level variation speed based upon the water level in every periodic time reaches a warning speed, and starts transmission level automatic control to set a next transmission level to a predicted transmission level at which the predicted reception level is raised up to a communicable reception level.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
