PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for formation of high refractive index layer for an antireflection film, capable of suppressing occurrence of a defect associated with aggregation of metal oxide fine particles and increase in luminous reflectance.;SOLUTION: A composition for formation of a high refractive index layer contains (A) polyfunctional (meth)acrylate and (B) metal oxide fine particles. When the volume of the polyfunctional (meth)acrylate (A) contained in the composition for formation of a high refractive index layer is defined as (VA) and the volume of the metal oxide fine particle (B) is defined as (VB), the volume ratio of the metal oxide fine particle (B) {VB/(VA+VB)} is 15 to 37% relative to the total volume of the polyfunctional (meth)acrylate (A) and the metal oxide fine particle (B).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
