PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translation quality automatic evaluation device which resolves lowness of sensitivity to difference of comprehensive word order.SOLUTION: A word association part generates an integer list associating words between a correct translation sentence and a machine translation sentence using information about words before and after the inputted machine translation sentence and correct translation sentence, and a rank correlation coefficient calculation part calculates a normalized rank correlation coefficient from the integer list. Then, an evaluation score calculation part calculates an evaluation score by multiplying the normalized rank correlation coefficient by an exponential function whose base is a translation relevance ratio and exponent is . This is a predetermined constant number between 0 to 1.
