PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method improving cation conductance in ionic liquid, and to provide cation conduction medium using the ionic liquid. PSOLUTION: Inorganic oxide powder in which surface charge is pH 5 to 13 in terms of zero charge point and whose specific surface area is 0.3 to 50 mSP2/SP/g is contained in the ionic liquid. The inorganic oxide powder is preferably aluminium oxide, titanium oxide or zirconium oxide, and the ionic liquid is preferably a mixture of aliphatic quaternary ammonium ion and fluorine-based organic anion.
