PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active matrix type display device capable of improving the picture quality even when parasitic capacitance between pixels is present.;SOLUTION: The active matrix type display device includes a first pixel and a second pixel adjacent to each other, in which the pixels use a data signal line S(i) in common and the first pixel is connected to a first scanning signal line through a first switching element, and the second pixel is connected to a second scanning signal through a second switching element.
