PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage inquiry situations with electronic mail ranging from the primary correspondence to a completion stage of the inquiry situations.;SOLUTION: An electronic mail response management system 10 includes: a respondent terminal address storage means 2 for preliminarily storing the mail address of a respondent terminal; a mail header analyzing means 3 for determining which of inquiry mail transmitted to a respondent terminal 22 and response mail transmitted form the respondent terminal 22 is pertinent to electronic mail based on the mail header information of electronic mail obtained by an electronic mail obtaining means 1 and a mail address stored by the respondent terminal address storage means 2; and a final response confirmation means 4 for determining, when any reply mail is not transmitted from an inquirer terminal 21 to the respondent terminal 22 to which the response mail has been transmitted within a prescribed time since it is determined that the response mail has been transmitted form the respondent terminal 22 by the mail header analyzing means 3, that the final response has been made to the inquiry.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
