Method of processing oats, apparatus for making the same as well as the use of oat pollard for isolating valuable substances

The invented method of processing oats, especially for the production of nutritively treated oat flakes with reduced amount of {beta}-glucans having enhanced nutrition value, is characterized by the following processing steps: separation on a mill oat pollard and grits from cleaned oat grains; production of oat flakes from the grit on a flaking machine, said oat flakes having reduced amount of {beta}-glucans; producing, at the same time from the separated oat pollard at least one substance from the group consisting of: {beta}-glucan, oat starch, oat protein, pelleted biofuel, fural, furan, tetrahydrofuran, organomineral fertilizer, ethanol, butanol, acetone, pasta for cleaning pipes clogged with fat, charge for bioreactor for producing biogas, oat quark. The above-indicated products can be used for further treatment in industry, agriculture, food industry and cattle feeding industry.
