The heating elements (1) are arranged in one line in a print region. The heating elements are actuated by an actuating electronics set. The additional heating elements (8,9) are arranged outside of the print region and are actuated by actuating electronics set. The electrical resistance property of the heating elements and additional heating elements are different. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for production of print head for thermal printer; and (2) thermal printer.
