A method for treating dysfunction of temporomandibular joint in the presence of defects in dentition. In the upper jaw occlusion splint is fixed that covers the entire tooth row. In the distal parts of the mandible tire prosthesis is fixed. After obtaining the functional results tomogram is registered for imaging articular alignment heads. Obtained information is transferred on tires in articulator using model plastering in obtained condition. The wax modeling is made to plan further orthopedic treatment. Temporary structures are made in wax modeling or by laboratory methods to produce fixed structure. The repeated visualization of computer tomograph data is performed and in the absence of any abnormalities and patient complaints the installation of permanent dentures is started.
