The method involves measuring coordinates of a target point (62) in a reference frame at transit time of modulated electromagnetic waves according to ultra wideband technology or from measurement of a magnetic field by triaxial magnetic sensors. Intersection point between a surface and trajectory of a projectile or a beam, or between surfaces is searched (64), using two recorded equations. Existence of an impact point is indicated (68) if the intersection point is found, and absence of the impact point is indicated (66) if the intersection is not found. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for protecting a real moving target against shootings (2) a method for simulating shooting on a real moving target (3) an information recording medium having a set of instructions for detecting impact point of a projectile or a beam, drawn by a light weapon used by a human being (4) a light weapon.
