PURPOSE: A cold spray coating method and a coating layer manufactured by the same are provided to use a reducing gas containing hydrogen, thereby manufacturing a high purity and high density metallic substrate having a low amount of oxygen even if using inexpensive powder having a high amount of the oxygen.;CONSTITUTION: A cold spray coating method cold-sprays a reducing gas containing 1 to 5 vol.% of hydrogen together with powder of which the particle size is 5 to 70 micrometers on a substrate in order to a coating layer on the substrate. When cold-spraying the reducing gas, powder feeding gas among the reducing gas is preheated. A coating material is a single metal of Cu, Al, Ni, Ti, Au, Ag, Sn, Zn, Fe, and Ta or is a single alloy of NiCr, NiAl, CuGa, CuIn, and steel. The reducing gas is one of H2, CO, CH4, C3H8, and C4H10 or is a gas formed by mixing at least the one of H2, CO, CH4, C3H8, and C4H10 with at least one of Ar, N_2, He, and air.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
