PURPOSE: A proximity recognition and area enlargement method using proximity sensor arrays and a computer-readable recording medium for recording a proximity recognition and area enlargement program using the proximity sensor arrays are provided to conveniently perform a zoom operation on a user interface (UI) screen with one finger and offer an environment for convenient click on a corresponding part.;CONSTITUTION: A set of first distance and position information is generated according to the distance and the position of a finger by a first proximity sensor terminal which is formed with four proximity sensors (S11). A set of second distance and position information is generated according to the distance and the position of the finger by a second proximity sensor terminal which is formed with four proximity sensors (S12). An enlarged area of an electronic document which is implemented on a touch screen is extracted from the first and second position information (S13). The magnification for the enlarged area is calculated from the first and second distance information (S14).
