PURPOSE: A microelectrode for measuring dissolved oxygen and a manufacturing method thereof are appropriate for a study on primary production effects of benthic microalgae inhabiting the sea bottom by being made up of a working electrode, a reference electrode, an auxiliary electrode, an electrolyte, and an outer case.;CONSTITUTION: A microelectrode for measuring dissolved oxygen includes a working electrode (110), a reference electrode (120), an auxiliary electrode (130), an electrolyte (140), and an outer case (150). A reducing reaction of oxygen takes place in the working electrode. The reference electrode corresponds to the working electrode. The auxiliary electrode removes the oxygen sent from the electrolyte before the oxygen reaches the working electrode. The electrolyte is charged inside a glass pipe in order to induce the reducing reaction of the oxygen. The working electrode, the reference electrode, and the auxiliary electrode are embedded in the outer case, and the electrolyte is charged in the outer case.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
