PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a porous uo2 sintering pellet for electrolytic reduction capable of collecting metallic nuclear fuel for discontinuously implementing atmosphere sintering and reducing and a porous UO2 sintering pellet manufactured by the same are provided to easily control the properties of a sintering pallet by controlling the sintering density of the porous UO2 sintering pallet using a processing parameter same with compacting pressure and sintering temperature. CONSTITUTION: Powder including U3O8 is formed by oxidizing used nuclear fuel including uranium dioxide. A porous U3O8 molding body is manufactured by molding the powder. An UO2+x sintering pallet is manufactured by sintering the manufactured porous U3O8 molding body with atmosphere gas at the temperature of 1200 to 1600 degrees. An UO2 sintering pallet is formed by cooling the UO2+x sintering pallet at a room temperature before reduction processing at the temperature of 1000 to 1400 degrees in a reduction atmosphere.
