PURPOSE: An apparatus for maintaining and identifying the leveling of a platform in a lifting type barge for offshore drilling is provided to precisely set the leveling of the initially installed platform, thereby allowing a worker to safely work on the platform.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for maintaining and identifying the leveling of a platform in a lifting type barge for offshore drilling includes a measuring part, a sensor part (120), and a control part. The measuring part includes multiple fluid housing pipes and multiple connecting pipes. The fluid housing pipes are in parallel with the outer border of the platform (202). The connecting pipe includes a pair of branch pipes and a head pipe (114) which is vertically extended from the branch pipes at a certain height. The connecting pipe connects the fluid pipes adjacent to each other, and is filled with a fluid reaching a certain level in the head pipe. The sensor part includes a cap (123) coupled to the upper side of the head pipe at every edge of the platform, and the cap has a sensor member for detecting level variation in the head pipe. The control part identifies the leveling condition of the platform based on the level variation. Multiple actuating cylinders (204) are respectively placed at the edges of the platform, and the control part moves one of the actuating cylinders up and down in order to maintain the leveling condition of the platform.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
