Method of Controlling Spodoptera exigua Using Stress Sound

PURPOSE: An insect pest control method using stress sound is provided to improve pest control effect by utilizing stress sound in addition to existing biological control or chemical control, thereby reducing side effects due to chemicals by reducing the amount of chemicals. CONSTITUTION: An insect pest control method using stress sound preventing one or more kinds of insect selected from liriomyza trifolii, myzus persicae, and spodoptera exigua comprises a step of treating sound of 100-5,000 Hz together with pesticide in order to raise pesticide-sensitivity of pest. The pesticide is chemical pesticide, and the treated sound wave is 2,000-5,000 Hz.
