FIELD: process engineering.;SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to fixtures used in machining of parts. Proposed fixture comprises chuck with central bore and workpiece holder with locating pin with surface section shaped to mate central bore conical inlet surface. Chuck incorporates clamping mechanism to lock holder locating pin in central bore composed of sleeve with conical or rounded end with its base spring loaded to chuck sidewall and provided with piston chamber. Chuck central bore base is furnished with extra rod with taper end while holder locating pin end has inner bore with diameter exceeding that of rod with taper end. Invention covers also the method of fixation of part holder using above described fixture.;EFFECT: higher precision of location, simplified design.;2 cl, 3 dwg
