The differential (2) has planetary wheels (6) rotatably held at a planetary wheel carrier (3). Two sun wheels (8, 9) are combed with the planetary wheels and rotatable relative to the wheel carrier. A spring unit (12) i.e. laminated disk spring (13), pretensions the sun wheels relative to the wheel carrier. The spring unit is loaded against the sun wheels and against an axial bearing (14) i.e. needle bearing. The spring unit and the bearing are arranged between the sun wheels and rest against the sun wheels while friction disks (16, 17) are arranged between each sun wheel and the carrier.
