Method for determining target curve slant of motor car when driving on curvilinear track portion, involves computing modified momentary target curve slant by weight of target curve slant with target curve slant weighting factor
The method involves determining momentary lateral acceleration (ay) of a motor car (S1) based on momentary velocity, by a non-optical sensor system. A momentary track curvature (K) of a curvilinear track portion is determined (S2) by an optical detection system (18) of the motor car. A momentary target curve slant is computed using momentary lateral acceleration. A modified momentary target curve slant is computed by weight of the target curve slant with a velocity-dependant target curve slant weighting factor. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for carrying out a target curve slant of a motor car (2) a motor car.
