The arrangement (1) has an ear canal region (2) insertable into an ear canal of an ear. The ear canal region comprises two flange regions (4). An intended region is formed between the flange regions for splitting the flange regions. The flange regions are irreversibly removable and formed as local lateral widening regions of the ear canal region. An outer region is accessible from an outer side of the ear canal in an inserted state of the arrangement and connected with the ear canal region. The outer region and the ear canal region are made of different materials. An independent claim is also included for a method for adapting an earpiece arrangement.
