The method involves allowing persons to participate in activity, where each person is equipped with a computer with a video screen and a peripheral device connected to the computer to intervene in a scenario. The scenario is used in the form of a multi-player video game in a network in which people act as co-operative active authors by achievement of a role e.g. role of taxi driver, in the course of the events for training and/or teaching. Control of an avatar e.g. car, is assigned to each participant in the scenario. An independent claim is also included for a system in form of a simulator for driving a car.
