The machine e.g. crockery washing machine (1) has a treatment enclosure (7) for treating objects to be washed and/or dried. A layer is placed on a part of an external face of an upper wall (2a) of the enclosure. The layer comprises a cork (9) that is placed on the part of the external face of the wall. The cork is produced in shape of a preformed panel, which is fixed on the part of the external face of the wall. A hydraulic system includes a connection device with a water distribution network and a solenoid valve that is controlled by a control unit so as to supply water to a washing tank.
