PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve overall efficiency of medical treatment while guaranteeing authenticity of an electronic medical chart.SOLUTION: A use mode recording section 13 of a control device 1 records a current use mode of medical chart information of each patient by each of terminals 2A and 2B. When a switching request to an edition mode about the medical chart information of one patient is made from the second terminal 2B, a terminal selection section 14 determines whether or not there exists the other terminal (first terminal 2A) put in the edition mode about the medical chart information. When the determination result is positive, the terminal selection section 14 selects one terminal. When the second terminal 2B is selected, a terminal control section 111 makes the first terminal 2A switch the use mode to a browsing mode, and makes the second terminal 2B switch the use mode to the edition mode. When the first terminal 2A is selected, the terminal control section 111 makes the first terminal 2A continue use in the edition mode, and makes the second terminal 2B hold switching to the edition mode.
