PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reuse heat highly efficiently by collecting heat quantity discharged from a kneading and pelletizing apparatus, and returning the heat quantity to a kneader and/or a pelletizer while maintaining the state of heat.SOLUTION: Provided is a method of reusing heat in the kneading and pelletizing apparatus 1 of the present invention which is equipped with: a kneader 2 which kneads resin; a pelletizer 7 which cuts resin kneaded by the kneader 2 into a granular state and cools down granular resin N after cutting by cooling water W; and a separator 11 which separates the granular resin N, which was discharged from the pelletizer 7, from the cooling water W. Heat quantity, which the cooling water W has after the granular resin discharged from the separator 11 was separated, is collected, and supplied to the kneader 2 and/or the pelletizer 7 while the state of heat is maintained.
