PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of stacking all of block bricks without using particular facilities in a state where the furnace body of a convertor maintains its vertical posture.;SOLUTION: After a lining block brick 4a is stacked at the circumference of a steel tapping hole in a state where the furnace is in a vertical posture, an iron dummy pipe 7 having a flange 7f at the end face on the inner side of the furnace is fitted into the block brick on the inner side of the furnace, the flange 7f is locked to the operation surface of the block brick 4a on the inner side of the furnace, and then a plurality of block bricks 4b and 4c for the outer side of the furnace are fitted one by one sequentially from the tip of the dummy pipe 7 that protrudes to the outside of the furnace at the steel tapping hole, and coaxially connected to the block brick 4a on the inner side of the furnace.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
