PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for applying metallic-tone decoration, which hardly causes deterioration or peeling, on a resin door handle exterior part constituting a door handle, and to provide the resin door handle exterior part.;SOLUTION: Etching processing is applied on the rear side of the exterior surface of a translucent cover body 3 (door handle exterior part ) obtained by injection-molding a resin, then, fine ruggedness is formed on the rear side surface. Next, a metal vapor deposition film 18 is formed on the rear side surface. By applying the etching, the rear side of the cover body 3 is improved in quality, and adhesion between the cover body and the metal vapor deposition film 18 is enhanced, then, base-coating is not required.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
