PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive sulfuric acid-resistant concrete excellent in sulfuric acid resistance and keeping prescribed strength, and also to provide a method for production thereof. PSOLUTION: A sewer pipe 1 comprises the sulfuric acid-resistant concrete 5 having the sulfuric acid-resistant layer 3 neutralized only to a prescribed depth D, and is built up thickly by adding the prescribed depth D of the sulfuric acid-resistant layer 3 to the minimum thickness L necessary for securing predetermined strength. In this regard, the prescribed depth D, namely the thickness of the layer 3 is properly set up at each site depending on the diameter of the sewer pipe 1, the flow rate of sewage passing through the pipe 1 and the like. The sulfuric acid-resistant layer 3 does not include Ca(OH)SB2/SBbecause concrete is neutralized, and thus does not corrode even if coming into contact with sulfuric acid.
