How to build quake-absorbing structure and seismic isolation

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolated structure which is excellent in supportability of equipment etc. installed in an upper position, restorability against shaking, and a damping capacity, if installable on a free-access floor, and to provide a method for constructing the base-isolated structure.;SOLUTION: Two each of longitudinal and lateral floor panels 29 adjacent to each other in a position corresponding to equipment installation portion 31 for installing the equipment etc. are removed. Subsequently, retainer members 33 and 35 are installed respectively on supporting legs 19. The retainer member 33 installed on both the sides of the equipment installation portion 31 is formed in such a shape as to have an L-shaped cross section while a hole, through which the supporting leg 19 can pass, is provided on one surface, and a fixing bracket 36 can be joined to the other surface. A supporting leg holding portion 43 is hooked on a nut 49 by the fixing bracket 36. This can prevent the upward backlash of the retainer member 33. Additionally, the horizontal backlash of the retainer member 33 can also be prevented because the supporting leg 19 is held from a vertical direction by a U-bolt 45 and a holding plate 38.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
