A liquid stream processing plant (218) for placement on an off-shore hydrocarbons production platform (210) operating in an environment including a hydrocarbons production well (212), said liquid comprising oil and water from said production well (212), said plant (218) including a) a first connector (C1) for connection with a supply of said stream, b) a second connector (C2) for discharge of water separated from said stream, and c) a pump (1) and a filter (F) for said liquid stream downstream of said first connector (C1), said filter (F) being configured to separate water from oil and having a water outlet (225) configured for delivering separated water to said second connector (C2), characterised in said pump (1) propelling said liquid on the basis of adhesion and having at least one adhesionpropelling disc (7, 8) mounted on a rotatable shaft (I) drivable by a drive, said filter (F) being a cross-flow Silicon Carbide (SiC) filter.
