The invention relates to medicine, namely to laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery and can be used for laparoscopic antireflux surgery in the patients with large and giant hernias of esophageal hiatus for preventing the severe postoperative complications and reducing the number of recurrences. According to the invention, the reconstruction of esophageal hiatus is provided in two stages. The cruses of diaphragm are sutured posterior to esophagus. Then anterior to esophagus, the synthetic mesh with antiadhesive coating matching the diameter of esophagus is mounted and fixed to diaphragm with separate interrupted sutures.
