METHOD FOR PREDICTING PROGRESSION OF SKIN MELANOMA IN PATIENTS WITH METASTASES IN SENTINEL LYMPH NODES

摘要

A method for predicting progression of skin melanoma in the patients with metastases in the sentinel lymph nodes comprises histological study of lymph nodes. The presence of isolated cancer cells and separate aggregations suggests the favorable clinical course, while the extended lesions more than in in diameter with the extracapsular expansion indicates the unfavorable prognosis.
