The present invention relates to a high-concentration carbonation method for controlling the shape of lime mud (calcium carbonate) particles and removing silicate impurities in the lime mud (calcium carbonate). The method for controlling the shape of the lime mud (calcium carbonate) particles of the present invention comprises introducing carbon dioxide with a purity of above 85% into a sealed reaction tank, and by controlling the pressure and temperature, trimming the shape of the lime mud (calcium carbonate) particles while completing the carbonation reaction, and converting calcium silicate into silicic acid, thereby effectively removing calcium silicate.
