The present invention relates to a composition comprising a Curcuma longa extract as an active ingredient and, more specifically, to an anti-cholesterol composition comprising an alcohol having an anti-cholesterol effect and a Curcuma longa extract extracted by mixed solvent consisting of lava-seawater as active ingredients by extracting the Curcuma longa with the mixed solvent consisting of alcohol and lava-seawater; and an extraction method of the Curcuma longa extract.
