The device (200) i.e. scaffold, has a support part (100) comprising cell receiving recesses (120, 140) that are formed in a retainer. A transverse bolt retainer recess (130) is formed in the support part with an electrical energy store cell. The transverse bolt retainer recess is formed in the retainer and a transverse bolt i.e. flattened recess. The transverse bolt comprises a center area e.g. rounded recess, and two end regions. A cooling medium is placed above the center area and the two end regions to cool the energy store cell. A mounting device is made of plastic composite material. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a battery cell mounting device.
