The machine (10) has a rotor (12) rotatable around a rotor axis. Permanent magnets (16) are embedded into the rotor. Magnetic flux lines produced by the magnets are directed such that the lines from a stator (11) are discharged in vicinity of a longitudinal axis of magnetic poles. Apertures (17) exhibit small permeability and are expressed as a relationship containing an outer radius (R1) from a rotor axis to an external periphery (12a) of the rotor, a radial distance (R2) from the axis to an end of the apertures and an inner radius (R3) from the axis to an inner periphery of the rotor.
