The method comprises performing a first thermochemical enrichment process in a steel part with carbon at specific temperature in beginning of austenitic transformation of steel, where the thermochemical enrichment process includes hardening the steel part followed by enrichment of nitrogen performed using an ion implantation process. The hardening process is carried out under a controlled atmosphere in the presence of nitrogen gas. The nitrogen enrichment process is performed after a step of preparation a surface including vibratory finishing pieces. The method comprises performing a first thermochemical enrichment process in a steel part with carbon at specific temperature in a beginning of austenitic transformation of steel, where the thermochemical enrichment process includes hardening the steel part followed by enrichment of nitrogen performed using an ion implantation process. The hardening process is carried out under a controlled atmosphere in the presence of inert gas, preferably in the presence of nitrogen gas. The nitrogen enrichment process is performed after a step of preparation a surface including vibratory finishing pieces and after the application of a solid lubricant. The nitrogen enrichment process is carried out at less than 100[deg] C. The steel part includes 0.1-0.3 wt.% of carbon, and the first thermochemical enrichment process increases the content of carbon to 0.9 wt.%. Independent claims are included for: (1) a steel mechanical component; and (2) an installation for thermochemically treating a steel part.
