The method involves detecting distinct touch inputs by objects i.e. fingers (212, 222), on or near a touch screen display (200) at representation of a separate electronic document. Two electronic documents (214, 224), are selected in response to the inputs. Another tactile input by the objects on or near the display is detected at representation of the selected documents. A relationship between the two documents is updated in response to the latter input based on a result of comparison of a distance between the two representations of the selected documents displayed to a reference distance.
