PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for acquiring SI-HDL, a method for evaluating SI-HDL, a method for screening a compound having an action for increasing SI-HDL, and a medicine for increasing SI-HDL and a familial hypercholesterolemia (homozygote) therapeutic agent including the compound.;SOLUTION: A method for acquiring HDL derived from small intestine includes the steps of: perfusing a perfusate from an aorta to a small intestine through a mesenteric artery in a mammal other than a human in which an upper side and a lower side of a part of the aorta connected to the mesenteric artery are litigated; and acquiring a small intestine perfusate from lymph vessels. A method for evaluating HDL derived from small intestine includes qualitative analysis or qualitative analysis of the acquired HDL derived from small intestine. A method for screening a compound having an action for increasing SI-HDL includes the steps of: (a) administering a test compound to a mammal other than a human; (b) acquiring HDL derived from small intestine from the test compound administrated animal and a control animal by the method according to claim 1 or 2, respectively; (c) quantifying the acquired HDL derived from small intestine; and (d) comparing an amount of HDL derived from small intestine of the test compound administrated animal and an amount of HDL derived from small intestine of the control animal, and selecting a test compound which increases the amount of the HDL derived from small intestine. A medicine for increasing SI-HDL or a familial hypercholesterolemia therapeutic agent includes the compound which has the SI-HDL increasing action acquired from the screening method or its prodrug.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
