PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-accuracy measurement from one piece of observation data.SOLUTION: A standard curve generation method includes: a step (a) of obtaining observational data for multiple samples of a subject; a step (b) of obtaining content of a target component for each sample; a step (c) of estimating multiple independent components obtained by separating the observational data for each sample, and obtaining a mixing coefficient correspondent to the target component for each sample; and a step (d) of obtaining a regression equation for a standard curve. The step (c) includes a step of obtaining an independent component matrix by executing first preprocessing including normalization of the observational data, second preprocessing including whitening and independent component analysis processing in this order. As an independence indicator in the independent component analysis processing, a &bgr; divergence is used. In the step (d) of obtaining the regression equation for the standard curve, a robust regression method is used.
