摘要

The present utility model is process of production of a novel woven polyester - Ananas comosus (pineapple) blended fabric treated with Zinc Oxide/Carboxymethyl chitosan (CMCH). The nano - ZnO was synthesized in situ with CMCH polymer matrix then applied to fabrics thru pad- dry- cure method. The treatment of the polyester/pineapple blended fabric with ZnO/CMCH bio-nano composite significantly improved the UV blocking at least 10 - 15 pcnt . The present product also showed bactericidal property against Klebsiella pneumoniae and Staphylococcus aureus qualified by the presence of clearing zone of inhibition and no growth under the strip through AATCC 147-2004 standard test method.
