Disclosed is a seedling awaiting transplant hopper of a rice transplanter for purely pot-grown seedlings, comprising a left and a right side plate (1, 3) fixed on a pot-grown seedling transplanter and arranged opposite each other, and a connecting tray (2) fixed at the top part of the left and right side plates (1, 3), wherein a longitudinally provided left pin rod (6) and right pin rod (4) are respectively fixed on the lower part of the opposing faces of the left side plate (1) and the right side plate (3), a transversely provided front insert pin (7) is provided between the left and right side plates (1, 3) at a frame body front part above the left and right pin rods (6, 4), and a rear insert pin (5) is provided in parallel with the front insert pin (7) between the left and right side plates (1, 3) at a frame body rear part below the left and right pin rods (6, 4). The seedling awaiting transplant hopper of a rice transplanter for purely pot-grown seedlings is structurally simple and rationally designed. Using a hopper fixed inside the connecting tray (2) and made of steel wire winding downwards on the front insert pin (7), the rear insert pin (5), the left pin rod (6) and the right pin rod (4) greatly reduces the frictional resistance between the hopper and the seedlings, and can remove mud attached to the seedlings. Using a steel wire extending downwards on the left and right pin rods (6, 4) to a seedling outlet can further remove mud attached to the rice seedlings.
