A master-slave robot device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a slave robot operating in a predetermined working space, a master adjusting unit receiving at least one parameter for controlling the slave robot and displaying the same, and a main control unit receiving a master parameter regarding the master adjusting unit for controlling the slave robot, a slave parameter regarding the slave robot, and a route parameter regarding an estimated route in which the slave robot may operate, from the master adjusting unit and calculating the same, performing controlling while providing position data of the robot and direction command data of the robot to the slave robot, and setting an initial position of the master adjusting unit, while calculating current position data of the robot and direction data of the robot upon receiving the data from the slave robot.
