A thin film type solar cell includes an active layer which partially includes a textured region, a film layer which is located on the active layer, and a lens array which is located on the film layer and includes one or more lenses which are arranged to concentrate incident light on the textured region. Also, the method for manufacturing the thin film type solar cell includes the steps of: forming a partially textured region on the active layer; and locating a light concentration layer which includes the film layer and the lens array which includes one or more lenses which are arranged to concentrate the incident light on the textured region, on the active layer which includes the textured region. Also, the method for increasing the efficiency of the solar cell according to the present invention includes the steps of: concentrating the incident light by the lens array which includes one or more lens; inputting the concentrated incident light to the textured region formed on the active layer of the thin film solar cell; and converting the incident light inputted to the textured region into electric energy by the active layer.
