The present invention relates to a chamber for supplying reheat steam which can improve drying efficiency by spraying reheat steam onto coal, which is put on a transfer device to be transferred, with uniform pressure in a multi-stage dryer for drying the coal using the reheat steam. In a coal drying system which dries coal by spraying high temperature reheat steam under a plurality of transfer plates while transferring the coal containing moisture on the transfer plates having a plurality of through holes formed therethrough, a steam chamber having a space unit formed inside thereof to receive the reheat steam, a steam supply pipe connected to one side thereof to supply the reheat steam generated from a reheater, and a first steam distribution perforated plate having a plurality of steam spray holes coupled to the inner top thereof is installed under the transfer plate to spray the reheat steam of uniform pressure through the first steam spray holes. The chamber of the present invention is to remove the moisture contained in the coal by spraying the high temperature reheat steam of uniform pressure through the through holes formed on the transfer plate while transferring the coal for drying on the transfer plates for transferring the coal, thereby effectively drying the coal. The chamber of the present invention can prevent the incomplete combustion of the coal by removing the moisture remaining inside and outside the coal which is fuel used in a thermal power plant by bringing the high temperature reheat steam into uniform contact with coal particles and air gaps, improve the heat capacity of the coal, minimize the discharge of pollutants, reduce a natural firing rate according to the reduction in the moisture of the coal, and improve the stability of the supply of the coal by increasing the utilization of the low grade coal with less demand.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
