PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turnout candidate position specification device for specifying a candidate position of a turnout.;SOLUTION: A turnout candidate position specification device 1 includes: a road map storage unit 11 for storing a road map having a road end line showing an end of a road; a narrow width section specification unit 16 for specifying, using the road end line, a narrow width section as a continuous section narrower than a predetermined width in a road on the road map; a candidate position specification unit 18 for specifying candidate positions of a minimum number of turnouts so as to provide an interval equal to or shorter than a predetermined distance in the narrow width section specified by the narrow width section specification unit 16, and an output unit 20 for outputting the candidate positions specified by the candidate position specification unit 18.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
