PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attenuation coefficient estimation device for estimating an attenuation coefficient using a weight function of an appropriate parameter value.SOLUTION: An attenuation coefficient estimation device 3 comprises: an estimation part 12 which uses an observation aggregate that is an aggregate of information including a reception signal strength of a radio wave, a distance from a wave source to a reception point and an azimuth angle and a weight function of a parameter value to estimate an attenuation coefficient at a specific azimuth angle for each of a plurality of azimuth angles and parameters in such a manner that influences are reduced further for observation information away from the azimuth angle; a reference information storage part 14 for storing a plurality of reference information items each including an azimuth angle property of the attenuation coefficient for each of the plurality of azimuth angles and parameters estimated from a high-density observation aggregate and a parameter correct answer value corresponding to the high-density observation aggregate; a similarity judgement part 15 for judging whether the azimuth angle property of reference information is similar to an azimuth angle property of an estimation result of the estimation part 12; and an identification part 16 for identifying an attenuation coefficient corresponding to the parameter correct answer value of the reference information that is judged to be similar.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
