PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer sheath member mounting method capable of preventing a wire from being crushed when an outer sheath member is bonded together, and an outer sheath member mounting device.SOLUTION: The outer sheath member mounting method includes: an outer sheath member placing step of placing a sheet-like outer sheath member 19 on a base plate 23 in which a plurality of wire regulation pins 15 are provided so as to freely move back and forth, in the state where the wire regulation pins 15 penetrate outer sheath member holes 57; a wire placing step of placing a trunk 31 on the outer sheath member 19 along the wire regulation pins 15; an outer sheath member bonding step of oscillating a temporary bonding movable part 25 at an opposite side to the wire regulation pins 15 while interposing the trunk 31 therebetween, temporarily bonding the outer sheath member 19 on the temporary bonding movable part with the outer sheath member 19 on the base plate while pushing the wire regulation pins 15 closer to the base plate 23, and holding the trunk 31 therebetween; and an outer sheath member main bonding step of bonding together bond tabs of the outer sheath members 19 which are temporarily bonded together, by using a bonding roller 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
