A smoking cessation device, comprising a support member (1) and a communication member (2). A user can fix the communication member (2) into an oral cavity via the support member (1). A principle of the smoking cessation device involves an airflow difference or an airflow resistance, and an inner oral cavity of a smoker where the smoking cessation device is put is in communication with outside via the communication member during smoking. During smoking, the air flow resistance of a cigarette is greater than that of the smoking cessation device, and therefore a direction of the airflow is changed, thereby, when a person smokes, he or she inhales mostly air, resulting in a reduction in an amount of smoke inhaled by the smoker and achieving a purpose of gradually quitting cigarette smoking.
