SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINATING FOREIGN BOOKS READING LEVEL

The present invention relates to a system for determining the level of difficulty in reading foreign books and a method thereof. The system comprises: a vocabulary categorizing unit for analyzing the vocabulary used in each foreign book and determining the level of the vocabulary by comparing the vocabulary converted into an original form with vocabulary of each level in a dictionary; an evaluation unit for evaluating the level of readers by extracting vocabulary for a test from the list of vocabulary categorized by the level; and a database storing the vocabulary categorized by the level and saving vocabulary previously categorized by the level. Therefore, by checking the level of a reader in his/her ability to understand a foreign book in advance, the present invention can maximize the users interests in a corresponding foreign book and effects of learning.
