The present invention relates to an anti-monkey CD154 antibody specifically bonded to a monkey CD154 antigen, and relates to a fusion cell strain for producing the antibody. According to the present invention, the CD154-expressed cells of the primates, particularly human and monkeys can be detected by using the anti-monkey CD154 antibody. The anti-monkey CD154 antibody can be used as an immunosuppressive drug and an agent for treating associated diseases, by blocking the signal delivery of CD40-CD40L(CD40 ligand, CD154).
